ABOUT ME – Wool & Dreams

My name is Judit Rigo, founder and creator of Wool and Dreams. Since 2014, I have been designing and making handmade newborn photography props using carefully selected natural materials. Wool and Dreams is a one-person business, meaning every step of the process is handled by me personally – from material preparation and product design to photography, webshop management, customer service, packaging, and shipping.

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE & TRUST

Wool and Dreams has been present on the international market since 2016. For many years, my products were available on Etsy, reaching newborn photographers worldwide and receiving numerous positive reviews from satisfied customers. Today, the full collection is available exclusively through my own webshop, allowing for direct communication and a more personal shopping experience.
All orders are shipped quickly from within the European Union.

HANDMADE PROCESS & PRODUCT RANGE

Over the years, the product range has expanded beyond newborn photography props. In addition to wraps, layers and accessories, the collection also includes women’s scarves and hats, creative hobby materials, and handmade textile elements for wedding and decorative use.
As a craft maker, I continuously explore and develop new techniques that influence textures, finishes, and color palettes across my work.

WORKSHOP & CREATIVE SPACE

My workshop and showroom are located approximately 15 km from Budapest. This is where the products are created, tested, and carefully prepared for photographers who value natural tones, cohesive styling, and timeless aesthetics. By appointment, visitors can gain insight into the creative process behind the handmade props.

NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY & PROPS

Newborn photography is a genre where details truly matter. Wool and Dreams props are designed to enhance compositions, add depth and softness, and support a harmonious visual style. I primarily work with natural materials such as wool and cotton, often using hand-dyed or hand-spun yarns. In many cases, even the base materials are made by me, ensuring consistency and easy combination across collections.
